- 1). Mark the areas you will be staining with painter's tape. This will keep you focused on the area and keep stain away from areas you don't want stained. If you are staining the entire surface, no marking is needed.
- 2). Spray the concrete with the hose and pour the liquid stain carefully into the sprayer. Attach the tip to the sprayer head. Test the pressure by spraying the stain onto cardboard a few times and adjusting the spray tip as needed.
- 3). Spray the concrete, starting at one corner up top and working your way down to the opposite bottom corner. Spray only one coating to keep the coloring even. Allow 24 hours drying time.
- 4). Pour the sealant into the paint pan for easier access.
- 5). Cover the roller in sealant, remove the excess on the ridged side of the pan, and coat the floor. Only one coating is necessary. Allow 24 to 48 hours for the sealant to dry without leaving a tacky film.
