- 1). Create a solution of 1 tbsp. borax, 2 cups hot water and 3 tbsp. white vinegar. Pour the solution into a clean spray bottle. Shake the spray bottle to mix the contents together.
- 2). Spray the shower doors with the solution. Scrub the doors with a sponge. Start at the top and work downward.
- 3). Spray a clean sponge with the solution. Wipe the gold handles, hinges and trim with the sponge.
- 4). Rinse the shower doors with the cool water. If your showerhead is removable, use it to rinse the area.
- 5). Wipe the shower dry with clean towels.
- 1). Pour equal parts hydrogen peroxide and cool water into a clean spray bottle.
- 2). Saturate the shower doors--including the gold trim--with the mixture.
- 3). Scrub the shower with a clean sponge. Wipe the gold trim with a damp cloth.
- 4). Rinse the shower thoroughly with cold water. Dry the shower with clean towels.
- 5). Repeat the process until all mildew has been removed.
