- 1). Seal your tumbled marble floor, table, counter top or other product with a stone and grout sealer before use. Apply the stone and grout sealer to your tumbled marble product according to package directions for best results. Reseal your tumbled marble product every six to eight months to maintain its appearance.
- 2). Clean dirt, dust and grime from your tumbled marble product, as needed, to prevent the dirt particles from acting as sandpaper on the surface of the marble. Sweep tumbled marble floors with a soft-bristled broom and wipe tumbled marble tables or counter tops with a soft, damp cloth to clean away everyday dirt and grime.
- 3). Prevent accidental spills from staining your tumbled marble product by cleaning them up as soon as they occur. Use a specially-formulated stone and grout cleaning product on your tumbled marble, if necessary, to remove tough stains.
- 4). Enhance the color of your tumbled marble by treating it with a stone enhancer product. Apply the stone enhancer to your tumbled marble according to package directions.
- 5). Cover outdoor tumbled marble with a protective plastic tarp in wet, freezing weather. If left uncovered, rain can penetrate the surface of your tumbled marble and freeze internally, causing the tumbled marble to crack.
