- 1). Scrape the stainless steel pan with a wooden spatula. Remove as much burned-on grease residue as possible.
- 2). Squirt about 1/2 teaspoon of grease-fighting dish soap into the stainless steel pan. Fill the grimy pan with hot water.
- 3). Simmer the soapy water for 30 minutes. Let the pan thoroughly cool.
- 4). Dump out the sudsy water. Scrub the softened greasy grime out of the stainless steel pan using a plastic scrubber.
- 5). Rinse the pan thoroughly in flowing water. Using a dishtowel, wipe the pan dry.
