How to Use the Calendar on Apple iPad

    Add Calendar Events

    • 1). Open the Calendar on your iPad.

    • 2). Press the "+" sign in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. The "Add Event" dialogue box will now be displayed.

    • 3). Press the "Title" box and assign a title to your event. Then press the "Location" box and specify where the event will take place. Press "Done" when these are each filled in to return to the "Add Event" screen.

    • 4). Press the "Start" and "End" time area to specify a time frame for your event. If it is an all-day event, press the on/off box next to "All-Day" until it says "ON." Press done when these are filled in to return to the "Add Event" screen.

    • 5). Press "Repeat" to add a recurring event. You can automatically schedule the event to occur every day, every week, every two weeks, and so on. When this is complete, press "Done" until you are back at the "Add Event" screen.

    • 6). Press "Alert" to add an audible alert for an event. You can set an alert for five minutes before your event, two days before your event, and everything in between. When you have set your alert, press "Done" until you get back to the "Add Alert" screen. When you get back to the alert screen, you will see the option to set a second alert if you want to. Your event is set up.
