- 1). Fill the kitchen sink with a solution of 2 parts warm water and 1 part grease-cutting dish soap. Use your hands to mix up the soap and water.
- 2). Dip a soft rag into the soapy water and wring it out well. Wipe down the kitchen cabinets with the rag and soapy water, then dry promptly with a clean rag. Rinse and wring out the rag often. The soapy water will likely remove light grease and grime from the cabinets, but heavy buildup requires more aggressive cleaning.
- 3). Mix 1 cup of warm water with 3 tbsps. of baking soda into a bowl. Dip a sponge into the mixture and spread it onto the greasy cabinets.
- 4). Let the baking soda mixture sit on the cabinets for a few minutes, then scrub gently with the sponge to remove the grime. Rinse the cabinets with a rag and cool water, then dry promptly.
- 5). Clean the cabinets with a mixture of equal parts of white vinegar and warm water to remove any remaining grease and grime. Dip a rag into the vinegar solution and wring it out well. Wipe down the cabinets thoroughly.
- 6). Rinse the cabinets with a rag and clean water once all of the grime and grease are gone. Dry with a clean rag.
