- 1). Turn the computer on and plug the USB wireless adapter into a USB port on your computer.
- 2). Insert the USB wireless adapter's installation disc into the computer's disc drive.
- 3). Follow the directions on the screen to install the USB wireless adapter's driver. A screen appears when the adapter is installed.
- 4). Click on the adapter's icon in the tray in the bottom right corner of the screen. Click on an available connection. Type in the password if prompted. The connection to the router is established.
