- 1). Insert a blank CD-R into your computer's disc drive and wait for the Windows "Autoplay" dialog box to appear. Choose the "Burn Files to Disc Using Windows Explorer" option.
- 2). Name your disc in the "Burn a Disc" window. Choose "With a CD/DVD Player" if you want your disc mastered to play in Blu-ray or other compatible devices. Choose "Like a USB Flash Drive" if storing your MPEG for computer playback. Click "Next." Leave this window open.
- 3). Locate your MPEG file in a new Windows Explorer screen. Drag and drop your MPEG's icon into the empty disc burn folder.
- 4). Click the "Burn to Disc" button and follow the prompts to save your MPEG to CD-R.
- 1). Insert a blank CD-R into your disc drive and wait for its icon to register on your desktop. Double-click its icon to open its own Finder window. Leave this window open.
- 2). Hold down the "Apple" key and press "n" on your keyboard to open a new Finder window. Locate your MPEG file via Finder and drag and drop its icon into the empty CD-R window.
- 3). Click the "File" tab at the top of the screen and select "Burn Disc." Follow the on-screen instructions to finalize your CD-R. Name your disc and click "Burn" to begin burning.
