The Body and Brain Training Connection - Exercise Your Way to Brain Training

The brain is considered to be the Commander-in-Chief of our body.
It monitors and regulates unconscious bodily processes, and coordinates most voluntary movement.
It is the site of consciousness, thought and creativity! Different parts of your brain do different things.
Some areas receive messages from sense organs, others control balance and muscle coordination, others handle speech, or emotion, memories, etc.
Thus, it is significant that we teach the brain to move our bodies safely and efficiently.
Being aware of our bodies is the starting point.
Asking ourselves if we are taking good care of our bodies and being honest in answering it will help us realize if we are doing the right things, or we are abusing our bodies.
A healthy body equates to a healthy brain! Let us then listen to our body.
Many of us are not aware of "brain training" and its importance.
We are limited to the idea that brain training is just confined to the four corners of the classroom.
The good news is, we have the ability to "expand" our brain.
There are techniques available for us to try.
Stress envelopes our daily life.
When we are under stress, we cannot think clearly and decide wisely.
If we are to reduce stress, we will be healthier.

Exercise gets rid of harmful stress chemicals and it boosts problem-solving, planning, and attention.
A protein called BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor)-which builds and nourishes the infrastructure of cell circuitry in the brain-is created when you're physically active.
Exercise also increases oxygen flow to the brain, which reduces brain-bound free radicals.
Furthermore, exercise acts directly on the molecular machinery of the brain itself; increasing neurons' creation and survival.
