Been to a "do" lately and found out to your dismay that your ex looked right through you? It is often one finds oneself in a position like this after a breakup - where your ex behaves like he/she does not want to have anything to do with you again! Have you ever thought of analyzing the situation and wondering why he/she did that? Most of the time the breakup has been a painful one, and your ex does not want all those hurt feelings to resurface, hence he/she ignores you in the hope that by doing so the pain will go away.
It is possible that you have hurt your ex so much in the past and now that you have broken up, your ex wants you to get the message that he/she considers you as a thing of the past that is not going to affect him/her ever again.
Maybe you are making a spectacle of yourself and trying too hard to get his/her attention.
This might have the opposite effect and your ex will ignore you.
Have you placed yourself in your ex's position? Maybe he/she does not want to be in contact with you right now and needs a little space after the breakup.
It is possible that your ex has finally moved on to a new relationship and wants to impress his new flame.
Any contact with his/her ex may put the new partner off! Have you had a good look at yourself? Do you still look attractive? If you don't, then no wonder your ex will ignore you and think that he/she did the right thing breaking up with "the slob"! Have you been coming across as a "desperado"? Leave your ex alone! There's no way he's going to acknowledge someone who is going to pester him/her with calls, messages etc.
Be smart and consider your ex's feelings.
If you respect him/her enough to trust his/her judgment, then it is only natural that sooner or later your ex will respect yours!
