- 1). Open the audio file in iTunes.
- 2). Right-click the file in your Library and select "Get Info." To repair the metadata for multiple songs at once, select them all by holding "Ctrl" as you click them.
- 3). Click the "Info" tab.
- 4). Change the metadata fields to whatever you want by clicking them and typing. The fields include "Name," "Artist," "Year" and more.
- 5). Click the "Artwork" tab if you want to add art for the song. Album art is another type of metadata.
- 6). Click "OK."
