- 1). Open the Start menu on your PC server, go into the "Settings" section and click on "Printers."
- 2). Double-click on the icon labeled "Add Printer."
- 3). Choose the "Local printer" radio button, uncheck the "Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer" box and press "Next."
- 4). Open the "Port Selection" drop-down menu. Within the menu will be a separate port entry for each client computer with a connected printer. Choose the option that relates to the printer you want to configure. Then click "Next."
- 5). Highlight the printer's manufacturer from the list on the left side of the window, select the model number on the right side and then click "Next" and "Finish" to complete the installation process.
