- 1). Use bleach. Soak the stain in a chlorine bleach for a maximum of 15 minutes. If the stain is not gone after 15 minutes, remove it from the bleach so the material does not weaken.
- 2). Soak the stain in a solution of three parts dishwashing liquid and one part denatured alcohol. If the stain does not turn dark after 15 minutes, remove it from the solution. If the stain does turn dark, it will wash out in the washing machine with hot water. You can repeat this process as many times as necessary in order to remove the stain.
- 3). Clean the stain with laundry detergent and cold water while blotting it with absorbent paper towels. Add a weak hydrogen peroxide solution to the stain and follow that with two to three drops of ammonia. Allow the mixture to remain until it stops bubbling.
- 4). Add more of the same stain. Adding more to the stain will keep it moist. Soak it in a strong liquid detergent and then give it a regular wash in the washing machine.
