- 1). Click "Start."
- 2). Click "Control Panel."
- 3). Click "Sound."
- 4). Click on the "Speakers" icon and click "Properties."
- 5). Click the "Enhancements" tab and check the "Disable All Enhancements" box. Click "Apply." Your speakers will no longer echo when you play DVDs on your computer.
