- 1). Visit YouTube.com and play any video.
- 2). Click the speaker icon on the bottom-left of the embedded player to turn on the mute feature.
- 3). Click the speaker icon again to turn off the mute feature. If you are in full-screen mode, the controls may be hidden. Simply move your mouse pointer to the bottom of the screen to see the controls again.
- 4). Click and drag the volume slider to increase or decrease volume. This slider opens up to the left of the mute button whenever you point to the mute button.
