- 1). Attach the coaxial cable from the source signal, such as a satellite receiver or antenna, to the RF IN or COAX IN jack on the back of the converter box by turning the coupler on the cable end clockwise around the external jack and tighten by hand.
- 2). Connect the three plugs on one end of the composite cables to the color-coded jacks on the back of the converter box. Match the white, red and yellow plugs to the jacks.
- 3). Plug the other ends of the cable into a set of AV IN jacks on the back of the TV. Most TV sets have at least three sets of input jacks so take note of which set is used to connect the digital converter, for example, Input 1 or Input 2.
- 4). Turn on the power to the equipment and then press the "Auto-Tune" button on the front of the converter box to program all channels from the source signal (or from the menu screen if your converter doesn't have this button).
- 5). Press the "Input" button on the TV until the signal from the converter box appears on screen.
