Naomi Watts and Sean Penn star in this film directed by Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity). Based on a true story, Fair Game is part political thriller, part marital drama. Around the time of the US invasion of Iraq, Valerie Plame (Watts) is a covert CIA officer and the mother of young twins. Also, she's the wife of Joe Wilson (Penn), formerly an ambassador, but now trying to get a consulting business going.


But Plame's and Wilson's activities run afoul of the George W. Bush administration, which deliberately blows her cover, turning the couple's lives upside down.
