Acrostic Tribute to Ban"ya Natsuishi

Ban'ya Natsuishi (pen name Masayuki Inui) was born in Japan in 1955.
He received a Master of Arts from Tokyo University.
He serves as a Professor at Meiji University, Director of World Haiku Association (WHA), and President of Ginyu Press.
He has attended many international poetry and haiku festivals, organized WHA conferences and Tokyo Poetry Festival in 2008, and has spread haiku poetry across the world.
The acrostic poem is a unique form used by many to render greetings in a special way to the name of a person.
It consists of a series of lines in which certain letters, usually the first ones found in each line, form a name, motto, or message when read in sequence.
It may be used also to spell out hidden words or messages.
Historically, an acrostic poem is one in which the initial letters from the alphabet is called an abecedarius.
Additionally, ancient Greek and Latin writers, medieval monks, and renaissance poets are among those who devised acrostics forms.
The following acrostic is a tribute to Ban'ya Natsuishi: Ban'ya Natsuishi Haiku Visionary Poet Born in Aioi City, Japan, 1955; this great haiku poet and 1992 Meiji University professor has a poetic plan Across oceans and plains he sailed haiku poetry on a journey never experienced by any scholar or human New ideas envisioned he came to America Global Haiku Festival; then co-founded World Haiku Association Yearning to learn, he received a Masters of Arts in Comparative Literature and Culture, 1981, Tokyo University Allowing poets to reach heights they had never thought of achieving since birth of earth, he paves the way Natsuishi, is the pen name for Masayuki Inui; haiku poetry creator and narrator; also President of Ginyu Press Author of many publications including A Future Waterfall, Flying Pope and Labyrinth of Vilnius and others Tokyo Poetry Festival in '08 he organized and inspired as the Director of World Haiku Association with others Stimulates Chinese at Jilin University with haiku lecture, 1993; Research Fellow at Paris University, 1996-'98 Undoubtedly a master of his craft; promoted haiku writing in Mongolia, Macedonia, Slovenia to name a few In 2008 Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Tokyo and Italy saw his face at poetry festivals as the haiku director Sights set on Lahti International Writer's Reunion 2009 in Finland, from there to Druskininkai Festival 2009 He received these awards: Poet of the Year, 1980; Modern Haiku Association, 1991; Kawahigashi, 2002 In 2008, he received AZsacra Interns Poetry Award from Taj Mahal Review; he is a poet who is enlightened!
