- 1). Open Terminal, type "sudo reboot" and press "Enter." Type your password and press "Enter." Your computer shuts down and restarts.
- 2). Press "Delete" when you see your computer's splash screen, such as the manufacturer's logo. Some computers use a different key to enter BIOS, so check your manual and press the key required by your model. The BIOS opens.
- 3). Press the right arrow to highlight "Boot."
- 4). Press the up and down arrows to highlight bootable media on your computer. Change the boot priorities to suit your preferences by using the "+" and "-" keys.
- 5). Press "F10" to save your changes and exit the BIOS. Now, when you power on your computer, it boots using the boot order that you have selected.
