- 1). Verify that the paper out tray is down and out of the way so you can open the printer cover.
- 2). Make sure your printer is powered on.
- 3). Lift up the printer cover. The printer cartridge cradle will then be signaled to move to the middle of the printer, which will allow you to have easy access to the printer cartridges.
- 4). Raise the cradle's latch.
- 5). Lift the printer cartridge out of the cradle.
- 6). Remove the replacement cartridge from its package, and also remove the protective vinyl tape from the bottom and side of the cartridge.
- 7). Insert the cartridge firmly into the cradle. Then lock down the cradle latch. You will hear it click when it is securely in place. Lastly, close the printer's cover.
