- 1). Adjust your tower so that you have a clear view of the back of your computer, including your sound card or the audio hookups on your motherboard.
- 2). Locate the "Microphone In" jack on your sound card. No matter the make of your card, this will always be marked by either a pink socket shell or a microphone image next to it.
- 3). Plug your microphone into the jack. Once it is plugged in, return the computer to its original spot.
