- 1). Remove all debris from drains and gutters after every major storm and between seasons. If a a drain is clogged, unclog it immediately using a high-pressure stream of water through a hose.
- 2). Place wire mesh screens over the openings of drains to minimize the amount of debris that gets caught in the drains.
- 3). Repair cracks or minute holes with polyurethane sealant as soon as they are noticed.
- 4). Have a service check your roof every year while it's under warranty and every two years once it's out of warranty.
- 5). Do seasonal checks for any areas that might need a repair, or to see if damage has been done. If you think there is a problem after the roof has been installed, call your contractor immediately and make sure that he fixes the problem.
