- 1). Fill a spray bottle with white vinegar, and spray a heavy coat of the vinegar over the hard water deposits.
- 2). Let the vinegar sit for about one minute, which allows the vinegar enough time to break up the mineral content.
- 3). Wipe off the hard water deposits and vinegar with a damp cleaning rag.
- 4). Dry the surface with a dry cleaning rag. This prevents water spots. Also, by drying surfaces each time you notice water droplets you ultimately reduce the development of the hard water deposits.
