- 1). Enter your Windows CD/DVD into the CD/DVD drive on your computer, then restart your computer. Press a key to load the Windows setup program.
- 2). Press "R" to launch the Windows Recovery Console Command Prompt. Enter your administrator password if prompted. Wait for the Command Prompt window to load.
- 3). Type "cd system32" and press "Enter" on your keyboard. This will change the current directory to "System32."
- 4). Type "copy userinit.exe wsaupdater.exe" and press "Enter" on your keyboard. This will copy the "userinit.exe" and name it as "wsaupdater.exe."
- 5). Type "Exit" and press "Enter" on your keyboard. Restart your computer.
