- 1). Download the most current drivers for the HP Deskjet 3845 from the Hewlett Packard website. The drivers are available for Windows ME through Windows 7 as well as Mac OS9, Mac OSX and Linux. Make note of where you are saving the .exe file on your computer.
- 2). Locate the .exe file and double-click to open the file. This will begin the process of installing the drivers on your computer.
- 3). Follow the steps on the driver installation to complete the process. Once you have run the .exe file, your drivers are on your computer.
