- 1). Sign up for the Staples Rewards program, or for the rewards program at your local office supply store. You can sign up for the Staples program at Staples.com, or at your local store.
- 2). Gather your empty toner cartridges and take them to your nearest Staples store. If you print a lot, you might want to wait until you have several print cartridges.
- 3). Give the cashier at the Staples store your Staples Rewards card and let him or her know you have toner cartridges for recycling. Give the used toner cartridges to the cashier and collect your Staples Rewards. You can use those Staples Rewards points toward the purchase of new toner cartridges.
