Right-click the mouse button on any part of the webpage. Scroll down the options presented to you and click the create shortcut option. You will be asked if you want to put a shortcut to the webpage on the desktop. Click yes and minimize the browser window to check if the shortcut to the website appears on the desktop. You can also adjust the borders of the browser in such a way that you can see the desktop, then click-and-drag the icon on the left edge of the address bar to the desktop.
