Media Convert

• 1). Launch an Internet browser and go to Media Convert website. The "File Conversion" tab will be the default selection on the homepage.
  
  
• 2). Click the "Browse" button and locate the VOB input file in the file selection window. Select the item and click the "Open" button to submit it for conversion. The VOB input file will display on the homepage and the "Input Format" drop-down menu will auto-populate with "DVD Video Object (.vob)."
  
  
• 3). Leave "No Video Preset" selected in the first "Output Format" drop-down menu. Open the second drop-down menu and select "Windows Media Video (.wmv)."
  
  
• 4). Click "OK" to encode the video. The homepage will automatically redirect to a download page when the WMV output file becomes available. Click the download icon and follow the on-screen instructions to retrieve the media.
  
  

Online Convert

• 1). Launch an Internet browser and go to the Online Convert website.
  
  
• 2). Open the "Select target format..." drop-down menu in the "Video converter" section. Select "Convert to WMV" and click "Go." The homepage will redirect to a file submission page.
  
  
• 3). Click the "Browse" button and locate the VOB input file in the file selection window. Select the item and click the "Open" button to submit it for conversion. The VOB input file will display on the page.
  
  
• 4). Click the "Convert file" button to encode the view. A "Direct download link" will appear when the WMV output file becomes available. Click the link and follow the on-screen instructions to retrieve the media.
  
  

Zamzar

• 1). Launch an Internet browser and go to the Zamzar website.
  
  
• 2). Click the "Browse" button in "Step 1." Locate the VOB input file in the file selection window. Select the item and click the "Open" button to submit it for conversion. The VOB input file will display on the page.
  
  
• 3). Open the "Convert file(s) to:" drop-down menu in "Step 2." Select "wmv."
  
  
• 4). Type an email address in "Step 3." A notification email will be sent to this account when the WMV output file becomes available.
  
  
• 5). Click the "Convert" button to encode the video. Follow the directions in the notification email to download the WMV output file.
