Canon Rebel T2i Review: What This Camera Has to Offer

The Canon Rebel T2i brings many of the features of the Canon EOS 7D model into a compact design that is more suitable for the average user and the beginner. It looks like its predecessor and is the same size with a more ergonomic design. This Canon Rebel T2i review shows the features of an 18-megapixel sensor that is much like that of the 7D but has a slower shooting speed. Nonetheless, it does have an increased frame rate compared to the T1i and a 3:2 ratio LCD with 1.04 million dots of resolution.

The Child of a Parent Model That Gives Beginners a Chance

With this Canon Rebel T2i review, we show some of the features of the model and give you an idea of its capabilities. The capabilities presented here are intended to demonstrate that a beginning photographer can start to learn the features of a professional camera and even reproduce them. The Canon Rebel T2i has an ISO range from 100 to 6,400 and an option to go up to 12,800. This gives anyone free rein to experiment with the settings and learn. The video recording is versatile as well, recording at 24, 25, and 30fps, and this moves beyond the T1i, which is limited to 20 fps. Manual control is also available. A beginner can go far with this.

Additional Features and Pricing

This Canon Rebel T2i review is here to show features and inform you about the camera. This is not a sales pitch. One of the major features that set this camera apart from the 7D is the design. There is a rubber grip and the nameplates are combined into one. The contoured panel reinforces and softens the area where your palm rests. This is similar to what Nikon has done for years and now Canon has adopted the idea. For under $900, the Canon Rebel T2i is a fairly good deal.

Customer Statements

"You can't get better than this for under $1000."
S. Von Wagenen- amazon.com

This conclues the Canon Rebel T2i review, showing many of the features of a professional DSLR camera in a package that is user-friendly to the beginner while remaining appealing to seasoned photographers.
