- 1). Call your telephone service provider by dialing the number at the top of your phone bill and pressing 0 to speak to a customer service representative. Provide security information to the customer service representative as requested such as your date of birth or Social Security number to verify that you are account holder. Ask the representative whether you have an international calling plan on your phone line. Subscribe to an international plan if you do not already have one by telling the representative that you need to make a long distance call to the Philippines and agreeing to one of the international calling plans as outlined by the representative.
- 2). Dial the international dialing code 011. This is the code that alerts your telephone service provider that you are about to make an international call.
- 3). Enter 63, which is the country code for the Philippines.
- 4). Press the city code of the city in the Philippines where your friend, family member or business colleague lives.
