- 1). Go online to a people-search website, such as People Smart. Click "Reverse Phone" located at the top of the screen.
- 2). Type the number that you want to look up, in the "Phone Number" box.
- 3). Click on the yellow "Search" button located under the "Phone Number" box. The results will display the phone carrier.
