Everyone knows someone who seems to be able to fall into the proverbial excrement and come out smelling like a rose, right? We also know-perhaps intimately-lots of people that just can't catch a break, no matter what.
Have you ever wondered what THAT is all about? Numerous methods of divination have been used throughout history to try to stem the flow of bad luck and open the floodgates of good luck, from psychic readings and clearings, to feng shui and blessings.
When you have literally tried nearly everything, and luck still seems to evade you, it's time to go find the culprit...
who is usually lurking in the mirror.
So, armed to the teeth with determination, you face that angry-looking idiot who stares back at you so insolently.
Taking a deep breath and puncturing the air with wild gesticulations, you demand an answer.
Wild-eyed, the insolent one's face screws itself into strange contortions, trying to come up with some good retorts.
"Ah, nuts!" you may mutter to yourself, as you realize that all of your posturing really has not resulted in anything good yet, and most likely still won't.
Here's something that will work: sit in front of the mirror, eyes closed, mind quiet.
Think of yourself as a most precious little being...
an innocent one who truly does not yet understand the workings of the universe.
Allow yourself to feel love for that innocent being.
Now open your eyes and gaze into the eyes of the one in the mirror.
Let the love shine from your eyes, to reflect back at you.
When you realize your true innocence, you are ready to begin doing some things that will really help you.
Before you make any demands upon yourself, go back to that position of love and innocence.
Be clear about what you really want to attract and then see it, feel it, and be joyful about having it.
Use positive language, in present tense, as if you already have that which you desire.
Go back and forth between closed and open eyes, experiencing it from within and without the boundaries of your physical body.
Now open your arms to receive your desired result; make the physical movement of opening to accept something.
Do this both with eyes closed and open.
Feel gratitude for the receiving.
Then let it go, knowing that you already have what you desire.
Avoid continually thinking about it, because that results in pulling the energy back.
Then you have to let it go again, which causes delays.
When you physically receive that which you were working to attract, always be grateful, for your gratitude tells the universe that you love creating your world-so it gives you more of what you love.
If you are one who tends to get very emotional about what is happening to you in life, then the universe sends you more drama.
Since so much of your time is spent on the drama, it figures that's what you want more of.
Being an accommodating, loving universe that is always working to give you what you want, it sends you drama in ever-increasing amounts.
Concentrate on how destitute you are and how many bills you have that you can't pay, and you get more destitute and more bills.
When you decide it's time to step off the stage and get out of the drama business, it slows down and stops.
Work on living in Peace and you get more Peace.
Love yourself and you get more proof of how much you are loved.
Have fun creating and you get more creativity.
