- 1). Clear a work space that is free from dirt and dust.
- 2). Wash your hands then place your camera and cleaning materials in your workspace.
- 3). Wipe the lens of your camera gently with your microfiber cloth. The cloth will pick up any dust or smudges creating the haze you see on your lens.
- 4). Apply a small about of cleaning fluid to your cloth and gently wipe it over your lens. Do not rub firmly or repeatedly. A few strokes should be more than enough to completely clean the lens.
- 5). Use the cloth to wipe the inside of your camera lens cap. Clean the cover until it is free from dust that can transfer onto your lens.
- 6). Replace the lens cap and store your camera in a safe location.
