- 1). Click "Start" on the desktop, and click "Settings" on the pop-up menu.
- 2). Click "Control Panel," and double-click "User Accounts."
- 3). Locate the Administrator icon at the bottom of the User Accounts page. The administrator account name is saved as "Administrator" by default unless it was previously configured to a custom name.
- 4). Click "Start" on the desktop and locate the icon at the top of the pop-up menu, which displays the account that is currently logged in.
