SIM2 Multimedia, makers of well-received, and very stylish, high-end home theater video projectors, has announced its 2014 Grand Cinema 3-Chip 1080pDLP video projector line.
The line consists of six projectors: The Lumis Uno E, Lumis 3D-PF, Superlumis, Superlumis Pro, Superlumis Duo, and the ultra-exclusive, limited-edition Fuoriserie.
So far, detailed information has only be provided for the Lumis Uno E and the Superlumis, both of these feature triple flash 144Hz technology for 3D viewing, high brightness light output capability (3,500 lumens and 5,000 lumens respectively), motorized zoom and lens shift, and more.
In terms of price, all that has been announced so far is that the "entry level" Lumis Uno E will be $26,000 and the Superlumis Duo will be $120,000 (The Duo designation may indicate that the product might be an assembly of two matched Superlumis or Superlumis Pro projectors - just a guess for now).
SIM2 projectors are only available through authorized dealers and installers.
More details on all of the models in the new Grand Cinema Line are expected to be announced at the forthcoming Luxury Technology Show, which will be held on March 4, 2014. In the meantime, check out the SIM2 USA Website. Image Provided by SIM2 Multimedia
