- 1). Attach the antenna to the base and complete any other assembly required for that antenna. For the Winegard SS-3000, this would involve attaching the clips to the reflector and then attaching the reflector to the antenna.
- 2). Connect the coaxial cable attached to the antenna to the "Antenna In" connection of the power injector/amplifier, which resembles a cable splitter.
- 3). Connect the second coaxial cable from the "TV" output on the power injector to the coaxial input of your TV. For older TVs with an analog tuner using a digital to analog converter box, connect the cable to the "Antenna In" port of the converter box, with another one leading from the output of the converter to the TV.
- 4). Connect the coaxial cable attached to the AC adapter to the "Power In" connection of the power injector and plug the AC adapter into the wall outlet or surge protector. Other antennas will have a standard AC cord already attached to the amplifier/injector.
- 5). Place the antenna on top of the TV or in another nearby spot allowing for maximum reception in the room. Have the TV scan for available channels and reposition the antenna if necessary.
