Getting the Update
1Download the firmware update onto a computer. See Resources for the Philips website.

Extract the firmware file from from the ZIP file. You can do this with software such as WinZip and WinRAR. The file should be named "autorun.upg."

Save the firmware file onto a USB flash drive.
Installing the Update
1Insert the USB drive into the USB slot on your TV while the TV is turned on. If you are facing the TV, the slot is on your left.

Wait for the TV to turn itself off. Do not turn the unit off yourself or press any buttons on the unit or the remote control.

Wait as the TV turns itself back on and begins the update process.

Remove the USB drive after the TV displays "Operation successful."

Press the power button on your remote to turn off the TV. Only press the power button once, and do not turn the TV off with its own power button.

Wait for the TV to turn itself back on automatically after about 10 seconds. When the TV turns back on, the update is completed.
