• 1). Obtain the person's name, postal code or city name and have it in front of you when you begin searching for the phone number.

• 3). Go to the a website, such as Find-CellphoneNumbers.com, Canada411.ca or 411.ca. When the page comes up, there will be a link to look up a person by name. Click on that link and then fill out the information for the person you are looking for.
  
  
• 4). Hit the search button and see if the database has the person's name listed.
  
  

Reverse number look up

• 1). A directory, however, is not the only way to connect a person with a cell phone number. You can also find a person when you only have a cell phone number, using the Internet.

• 3). Enter the number on the page and hit the search button. If the number is the website's database, the number will be displayed with any information connected with that number.
