Both drinks start out the same, but the black leaves are ones that are fermented.
This removes some of the healthy compounds.
Since green tea is not fermented, it has more antioxidants and other important compounds.
It is a healthier drink for you than its black counterpart.
However, black still has a lot of beneficial compounds and is a good alternative.
