- 1). Purchase a gauge or indicator that fits your specific tank size. Most tanks have the same hookup but you may need a larger gauge if you are using a commercial-size tank.
- 2). Screw the indicator on to the tank the same way you would screw the regular adapter on.
- 3). Screw the regular adapter on to the other side of the gauge or indicator.
- 4). Make sure the indicator works and the needle moves off of the bottom of the gauge.
