- 1). Pull the refrigerator away from the wall to access the rear panel and unplug it from the power outlet.
- 2). Remove the screws that secure the bottom rear access panel of the refrigerator with a screwdriver and set the panel aside.
- 3). Take off the screws that secure the fan blade motor to the refrigerator brackets. If necessary, pull off the fan blade then remove the motor, or remove the motor then pull off the fan blade.
- 4). Disconnect the fan motor wire harness then connect the wire harness to the new fan motor.
- 5). Reconnect the fan blade then insert the fan motor into the cavity, or insert the motor then connect the fan blade, depending on the design of your refrigerator.
- 6). Secure the motor into position with the screws that were removed.
- 7). Reinstall the lower access panel with the screws that were removed to secure it in place.
- 8). Plug the refrigerator's power cord back into the wall outlet then push the refrigerator back against the wall.
