- 1). Open the hood and loosen the metal securing belt on the air intake using a screwdriver. Pull the air intake off of the engine. Locate the four spark plugs on the driver's side of the engine.
- 2). Remove the rubber-covered wire caps from the tips of each spark plug. Remove the spark plugs from the engine using the ratchet and spark plug socket.
- 3). Gap all four new spark plugs using the spark plug gapper set to .032. Insert all four new spark plugs into the engine and tighten them to 13 foot-pounds using a torque wrench.
- 4). Replace the air intake onto the engine and tighten the metal securing belt using the screwdriver. Close the hood.
