2003 Winnebago Itasca Spirit Specs

    • The 2003 Winnebago Itasca Spirit is one of the smaller motor homes that are manufactured by Winnebago. The unit's size is attractive to many campers who don't want the challenges that can occur with driving a large motor coach, or who don't need that much space. While the 2003 Winnebago is smaller than many of the other motor homes out there, it is also more maneuverable and runs on regular gasoline, which can make fueling up less of a headache.

    Engine

    • The engine of the 2003 Winnebago Itasca Spirit motor home is a Ford V10. The transmission is an automatic to provide easy handling of the RV without the driver needing to worry about shifting. The 2003 Winnebago Itasca Spirit is built on an E450 Ford chassis. The engine of this smaller RV runs on regular gasoline, and the height of the 2003 Winnebago Itasca Spirit will fit easily next to any gas pumps, making fuel-ups simple.

    External Amenities

    • The 2003 Winnebago Itasca Spirit comes with a generator to provide power to the RV without requiring the motor to run. The generator is a 4KW Onan, which is permanently connected to the RV electrical system and is accessed through one of the storage compartments on the outside of the Winnebago body. A freshwater tank can store water for use inside the RV for showers and other purposes that require water. Two side slides provide extra space when the 2003 Winnebago Itasca Spirit is parked. The front side slide is in the living room area, and the second one is in the back bedroom area.

    Internal Amenities

    • Inside, the 2003 Winnebago provides most of the comforts of home, although they may be reduced in size. The stove has four gas burners to cook on. The sink is a double-well sink, but it is smaller than a traditional household kitchen sink. The dinette area is located opposite the front side slide, which gives the dining area an open feeling. A microwave and refrigerator complete the kitchen area, and a couch that slides with the front side slide provides additional lounging space. A TV with a DVD player built in is located in the overhead entertainment center. Up to six people can sleep in the 2003 Winnebago Itasca Spirit.
