- 1). Shake the ink container well.
- 2). Pour two centimeters of ink into your well.
- 3). Dip the tip of your quill in the ink.
- 4). Write your spell. If you've never used a quill before, practice on a smooth sheet of paper. Quills don't respond well to sharp starts and stops. Write in loopy cursive for the best results.
