Build Big Muscles While You Sleep!

People, especially bodybuilders, are aware that lifting weights or other forms of muscle-straining exercises results to minor tears in muscle tissue.
It is a general fact that these muscle tears are repaired thus resulting to muscle growth.
This repair occurs only when you're done with your exercises and your body is in a recovery state.
Thus, you could say that bodybuilding is only one part of building muscle...
it is the recovery part afterward that is very crucial as it could make or break your bodybuilding goals.
Sleep is the most important thing for any person, not just bodybuilders.
It is the longest recovery period of the body.
People, especially weight athletes, need an optimal number of hours of sleep, i.
e.
8 hours in order for their body to totally recover their energy and be ready for another day.
Here's something that should make bodybuilders curious about sleep: their bodies could enter into a catabolic state even while they are asleep.
Now that is confusing isn't it? Generally, you enter into a catabolic state when you're intensely working out in the gym with insufficient carbohydrate stores.
At this point, your body will cannibalize lean muscle tissue to produce proteins, which are then converted to calories for energy.
You can prevent this, apparently, by beefing up on both protein and carbohydrates before and after workout to recover lost carbohydrate stores and lower cortisol levels.
At night, however, even if you're not doing anything, the body is still working to sustain itself.
It will still burn off glycogen from stored carbohydrates since even breathing will require energy, albeit at lower levels.
In the 8 hours of sleep you get, if you didn't consume that much carbohydrates for dinner, the body will use lean muscle tissue and convert it to calories.
So how do you prevent that? To do that, you must build muscle while you sleep! You do that by taking a blend of protein supplements before sleeping.
Remember that the body will draw off any nutrients absorbed from outside - through our food - until it runs out and then that's when the catabolic state kicks in.
With enough proteins absorbed from supplements, however, the body will have what it needs for most if not the entire time that you are sleeping.
You can then minimize the cannibalizing and instead help your body build and repair muscles so you can see growth.
Protein supplements like the whey protein isolate is ideal for this because it has more protein per dry weight compared to other supplements, which is what you will need to prevent muscle breakdown during sleep.
