- 1). Scrape the glass using the razor blade. You want to keep the blade at a sharp angle in comparison to the glass, almost parallel to the surface. This should clean the majority of the wax off the surface.
- 2). Apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol to the windshield and rub it off in a circular pattern using the microfiber towel. This should break down the rest of the wax to the point that it will completely remove any buildup.
- 3). Clean the windshield with a high-strength glass cleaner and the microfiber towel, working it in a circular motion. Microfiber towels have little hooks in them that allow the towel to work mechanically, without the aid of any cleaners, but the cleaner will help to break down any remaining wax as well.
