- 1). Cut 10 inches of craft cord with scissors. Fold the cord in half, and then pull the folded end through a key ring. Pull the folded end until it is even with the cut ends. Hold the folded and cut ends in one hand. You will have two folds around the key ring.
- 2). Slide the two folds apart on the key ring, until they are on opposite sides. Spin the key ring forward, through the loop, about 10 times. This will twist the cord over itself.
- 3). Grasp the cut ends in one hand and the key ring in the other hand. Pull until the knot is snug against the key chain. You will have a long knot and two long tails. If the tails are too long for your taste, cut them shorter with the scissors.
- 4). String two of your pony beads onto one of the tails of your knot. Tie an overhand knot, at the end of the tail, to keep the beads from coming off. Do the same on the other tail.
