Once in awhile a reader posts something that is so thought-provoking that it can't be ignored. WT's story is one of those. His meeting with Wakatsuki seems to have been preordained, as he walked right toward her in a park, as if he knew her. Although he wore a collar, he seemed to be alone, and the two of them met there regularly. I sense that they shared the spiritual connection which sometimes comes with cats, but it came in a much shorter time.

Perhaps they both knew they didn't have long together. The day came when he was sick, and Wakatsuki took him to the veterinarian. They both went home together, where they lived for the remainder of WT's life. You can read WT's full story in the Joy of Senior Cats Show and Tell.
