Cat Urine Odor Removal Methods

Cat urine odor removal methods are available a dime a dozen now a days but unfortunately not all of them work.
What you require is a solution that will get rid of the problem once and for all so that you a live in harmony with your pets without the worry of having your house all messed up.
Untrained cats or dogs have a tendency to dirty the floor or upholstery most of the times leaving a permanent sink and stain behind.
At those times, you might have tried different  urine odor removal methods in order to remove it and got frustrated to see your cat still going back to the same spot and urinate again.
Actually, quite a few methods work effectively but, most of the cat owners fail in removing the cat urine odor because they make one common mistake.
The mistake is to apply the wrong method in different circumstances.
For example, you cannot apply the same method which removes the cat urine odour from a carpet to remove cat urine on upholstery.
You must remember that firstly a cat's urine contains ammonia that gives cat urine a pungent smell and therefore using any substance that contains ammonia to remove the smell will only worsen it and secondly trying to scrub off a cat urine stain with a detergent won't help.
cat urine stains are stubborn if you don't use the right method.
Please note that what I am giving here is just one example of many that I have you could give it a try but I don't guarantee you that this method will work for you as there are different methods for different situations and it will depende entirely where and how you use it.
To begin with you will need these below mentioned things.
They are: 1.
    Rubber gloves 2.
    Towels (cloth or paper) 3.
    Scrub brush 4.
    A bowl 5.
    Warm water 6.
    Dish detergent 7.
    White vinegar 8.
Baking soda Now you are ready to remove cat urine odor forever.
Let's try to remove the odor from a carpet.
The steps are as follows; 1.
Use a dry towel and remove cat urine as much as you can.
Then re-wet the towel again with warm water, and repeat the same process.
Including a shampooer, wetvac, or steamer will make this task easier.
2.
Once you are able to remove much of cat urine from the carpet, soak the area with a solution mixed up with 50 percent of water and 50 percent of vinegar.
Now, let that area to dry.
You can use a fan in order to make it dry fast.
3.
Next, use lots of baking soda to cover up the area entirely.
4.
Take a container and fill it up with enough water to soak the affected area.
Now, add a drop of regular dish detergent and pour the solution on top of the baking soda slowly.
5.
Work the baking soda, water and detergent paste into the carpet by using your hands, or towels, or a scrub brush.
After working it in good and deep, let it to dry.
6.
When the area dries completely, the baking soda returns to powder form.
Try to vacuum it up and if it is not possible, use water and towels to blot it up.
7.
You must repeat steps 3-6 in order to eliminate any remaining odor.
