- 1). Open your Safari browser on your iPod touch and navigate to jailbreakme.com.
- 2). Swipe the slider across (just as you do when you unlock your device) to begin jailbreaking your iPod. This may take several minutes, so be patient.
- 3). Tap "OK" when you receive the message saying "Cydia Has Been Added to Your Home Screen."
- 4). Touch the "Cydia" icon on your iPod touch's home screen to open the Cydia app.
- 5). Tap "User (Graphical Only)" when the pop-up window appears.
- 6). Tap "Complete Upgrade" when the "Essential Upgrade" prompt appears.
- 7). Tap the "Confirm" button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. A prompt will appear, notifying you that you void your warranty by jailbreaking your iPod. Touch "Force Removal" to continue. Your iPod touch is now jailbroken.
